Hello :) I will let others who have used these applications leave their feedback, but one note is that cPanel does not support or troubleshoot issues arising from the use of third-party mail applications such as MailScanner or ASSP. That being said, many users successfully use these applications without issue. Thank you.

Just as some feedback - Went with tweaking Spamassassin a bit and server is lightning fast and blocking spam very well. With ASSP deluxe which I had installed that perl rebuilddb bayes file causes way too much load and sending emails is much slower than spamassassin. Well atleast in my testing that it.

The tweaking is the problem :-) Spam assassin Gui per account is not very user friendly. The current section "Apache SpamAssassin" Configuration" in Cpanel was a start. A preset / template dialog of allowing to save/load/copy would be a nice addition. The bayes training part should be made available via GUI. E.g. via IMAP folders. Create a ham_sa and spam_sa folder and allow the user to train SA. A global training seems to be a bit difficult because of permission rights problems. Haven't checked if that is now different. Out of the box I see a lot of -1.9 BAYES_00 which disables the detection scores of other sources of SA. Why is mailscanner so attractive in the frist place? Isn't it even considered because of the fine "MailScanner Front-End for cPanel Users" by Chripy ( [url=http://configserver.com/cp/msfe.html]MailScanner Front-End for cPanel ) ? The mailwatch integration is another asset with that installation. Another fine addition would be to allow the "Spam Box" feature be activated per email-account (per address not per domain). I know the feature request system and only a fraction of forum users are reading them. Feel free to post links from the feature request system here.

I created a feature request for easier training of SpamAssassin. NonSSL [url=http://features.cpanel.net/responses/spamassassin-bayes-training-via-cpanel]SpamAssassin Bayes training via Cpanel | cPanel Feature Requests Not sure if it is already available to the public. But it would be nice if you comment to improve the feature request. Feel free to addd other aspects here or in the comments of the feature request.

Awesome thanks. Would be great if spamassassin interface was looked at and possibly improved a bit more.
