Replacing Apache with Nginx
I am currently using Nginx and Apache but now in order to make some add-ons work on my website software, I need to pick either. I can not use both.
From my research, I have found Nginx more ideal because my website receives a lot of traffic but cPanel only provides official support to Apache and after speaking to my cPanel provider, they said that I can use Nginx but they highly advise I don't as it will interrupt cPanels default behavior.
What should I do? Is there a way I can make Apache do what I want without Nginx?
- Site receives a lot of traffic
- Site is a tube site
- Site will be using pseudostreaming to stream (Just saying this one just in-case you guys need to know)
- Site has a lot of images, PHP and HTML & CSS files
