Gmail POP3 connection

I'm having a problem that, for some reason, doesn't pop-up in Google results. When I use pop3 (secure and unsecure) in any mail program it works fine, but Google returns a 'Connection refused' I'm simply trying to add a pop3 box (from cpanel) in Gmail. Thanks

  Hello :) Do you have any firewall rules enabled that could be blocking access to Google's IP addresses? What mail settings are you using? Thank you.

  For instance, in Gmail, when configuring the POP3 account, what settings are you using for mail server name, email address, etc? Thank you.

  I've tried all the below options, I'm sure the server and login are correct because it's working in mail programs So I do think it's a firewall or security issue that isn't allowing Gmail to access the POP box PS: It's in Dutch, but it's very clear PPS: SMTP is working in Gmail .vB
