Rearrange an Account in WHM

I just have a few more questions about this. Now I have read the forums but still unclear. On my server I have a home directory and home2 directory. Question 1: When I make the move to new directory from Rearrange an Account does the emails accounts and folders that are stored on home go to home 2 too? Example Imap users emails, folders etc. Basically the whole account. Question 2: Once the rearrange is complete, does the stuff from home get deleted or do I have to do that? I'm assuming it doesn't cause of question 3? Question 3: I did a test move on a low end account it was successfully moved but when I brought up there cpanel no emails address or email where moved or there website or ftp accounts etc. Like the cpanel was blank and or a new account. All of there stuff was down. Then I repointed it back to home and everything was good. It said rearrange was completed. What did I do wrong? I thank you for your time in this.

  1: yes it moves everything 2: it will delete the old home info and create a symbolic link if nothing moved and all was still in the home dir then something went wrong

  Howdy, The account data is moved to the new home folder and a symlink is created. Any messages coming into be delivered might be queued for retry but will be delivered at the next retry. The window of opportunity is very small since you're moving from hard drive to hard drive. You could move several thousand messages in the time helo from SMTP is verified and allowed to continue. (Assuming both hard drives are healthy :D) Thanks!

  ok thanks moved a lot of small accounts bad had a big one go bad had to do backup restore. But other than that pretty smooth move. Last thing when I moved an account from home to home2 is it ok to delete example@ on the main home drive or should I leave it alone. This is what was left after transfer.

  @cmedik, After migrating your account from home to home2, It will move all the contents and create the symbolic link from home to home2. If you delete the symbolic links your website will not work.
