SpamAssassin reject spam score threshold

Exim Configuration Manager : ACL options :
SpamAssassin" reject spam score threshold :
Reject mail at SMTP time if the spam score is greater than this number. (positive or negative, single digit after a decimal point allowed)

Does this actually do anything? I have it enabled with the value 6.
But it is not rejecting any spam at smtp level (forwarders etc with or without POP3 accounts) and no spam scores are visible in any emails in /var/log/exim_mainlog

Thanks. Spam Assassin is not working. The test message flew straight into the inbox. Where should I go from here to sort it out? Thanks 0 -
Feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Ensure you provide examples of email accounts rather than forwarders, as SpamAssassin does not scan forwarded mail at this time (unless an email account exists for it). Thank you. 0
