    Hello :) You would have to consult with your hosting provider if you want that directory removed or backed up during the backup process. You do not have to remove files before restoring a home directory in cPanel, but note that your hosting provider must restore a full backup. Thank you.

    Thanks michael In my cPanel Interface, I have cPremote Backup manager as follows. Can't i restore a backup myself? Daily backups available from Jun 09 ,2014 Friday backups available from Sep 12 ,2014 Monday backups available from Sep 10 ,2014 Weekly backups available from Jun 08 ,2014 As you're a net specialist, what's your idea about these backups? No backup for Aug. or July!!!! is it usual?

    It looks like that's a third-party plugin that is not developed by cPanel. Have you contacted your hosting provider to ask about this? Thank you.

    Yes, I've contacted. Unfortunately, they're not doing well in supporting their customers and answering tickets. Anyway, I think it's very unusual to have backup for 2 days ago and 3 month ago. Am i right?

    Yes it is. Only your Hosting Provider can answer why that is though. If they're not doing well at supporting you, finding a new Hosting Provider might be something you should consider.
