CloudLinux + cPanel x Firewall Cisco ASA5540
Hello All,
I'm new here:-) this is my third post
from the next post I stop talking about it ok? ;-)
Need to set up a server with CloudLinux + cPanel, but he can't be exposed on the internet, need necessarily be within a Cisco ASA5540 firewall with NAT.
Will a NAT configuration one-to-one, Multiple external IPs <-> Multiple internal IPs.
Example:
external IP Internal IP
1.1.1.1 2.2.2.1
1.1.1.2 2.2.2.2
1.1.1.3 2.2.2.3
1.1.1.4 2.2.2.4
Just to be clear, it won't be PAT or NAT involving 1 external IP for multiple inside IPs. Will actually be multiple mapped directly to the external internal relative ip.
For this configuration and to my network, i can't use Transparent Firewall, then i need to be NAT obligatorily.
Only the required ports are opened outside -> inside
During the installation all be opened for inside -> outside.
My question is not about how to configure the firewall or the network cards ok? It would be the same cPanel and CloudLinux.
Before attempting to configure I've been googling and saw that they both refuse to NAT for licensing issues.
Someone already configured it? cPanel works?
