Server Separation and Security

My company's security team is balking at the use of a VSP, because there is a perception that we need separate Web and DB servers, in different segments. Can anyone explain how cPanels creates logical separation or security between the different elements of the VPS? Chris

  Hello :) It's true that if someone has access to the VPS hardware node, they could obtain access to the individual VPS account that it's hosted on. A dedicated server is sometimes a better option compared to renting a VPS from a VPS hosting provider if you have sensitive data. Thank you.
