FTP file transfer error - how to fix local file system
Hi,
I seem to have a weird problem, I have seen that I can't upload files (.jpg files) to certain directories via FileZilla the strange thing is I can upload the exact same .jpg file to another directory that has the same file attributes and I saw that I cant change the directory attributes via FileZilla, is there a way to fix local file system or is there somewhere settings that I need to set in cPanel or WHM to enable / fix the Permission Denied error?
in the attachment is the FileZilla Log. Note, both directories file attributes where I want to copy is 755
Any help would really be appreciated
Best Regards,
Lloyd

Hello, Please check the ownership is properly assign or not to the directory. 0 -
Hi @server9host Thank you for the response, how do I check if the ownership is properly assigned to the directory? 0 -
Hello :) The easiest way to review permission/ownership values on a directory is via SSH. Check to make sure the FTP user has access to that directory, and that it's not owned by "root" or some other user. Thank you. 0
