How to config DNS in WHM

I would like some guidance to get a correct setp of my server:
First the resolver, i fon t really understand what it is so i didn t change it, there was some data already on the whm:
primary:127.0.0.1
secondary: 213.186.33.99
i m with ovh.ca
Second the host: i named it serveur.mydomain.com
i own this domain on godaddy, so on goddy i did a A entry @ to my server IP, and i create 2 NS entry for this domain.
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com
finally, i added this two:
ns1.mydomain.com
ns2.mydomain.com
on whm nameserver.
My fisrt issue is i have only one ip adress for two nameserveur and kimsufi ovh doesn t provide any extra ip adress, i also notice a big timout when i do a ping url, so how can i fix this....

Re: Issue how to config DNS in whm Hello, You can point both nameserver on single IP. Please check you properly update nameserver at both end i.e. registrar end and server end. Thanks 0 -
Hello :) You should configure your resolvers to IP addresses provided by your hosting provider for this purpose, or to generic resolvers (e.g. 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4). It's acceptable to use the same IP address for multiple name servers. Remember to add the "A" records on the cPanel server if your domain name uses it for DNS purposes. Thank you. 0
