Concurrent connections
Hi guys,
I have a server running cPanel and I would like to know if is there any limit about concurrent connections? I mean HTTP requests. I am facing some kind of problems when I try to connect many websites from the same IP to a specific URL. We have developed a website that uses ajax to send and receive requests, but Google Chrome most of the time gives the following errors:
net::ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED
net::ERR_CONNECTION_TIMED_OUT
Does anyone know if is there any limitation about concurrent connections? If yes, how can I check and change it?
Thanks a lot!

Hello :) Do you notice any error messages in /usr/local/apache/logs/error_log when this happens? Thank you. 0 -
Hi, Thanks for you reply. Unfortunately there is no error message about connection, only about few pages that could not been found. Is there any other place to check it? Thank you! Erik 0 -
Have you been able to reproduce this issue using a different browser or different workstation/connection? Thank you. 0 -
Hi, Thanks again for your answer! Actually I tried on different machines (about 30), at the same time. Different users, different browsers (FF / Chrome). I am not sure about if Firefox users had problem too, but we are planing to install IPv6, so those 30 machines will be recognised as different IP. Currently they are under the same IP, so I think there is any limitation about concurrent connection from the same IP. Do you know if is it possible? Thank you again! Erik 0 -
Are you using a firewall? Does the issue persist when temporarily disabling the firewall? If you rule out your firewall rules as the cause of this problem, then feel free to open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look and attempt to reproduce the issue. You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -
Hi, Thank you again for answer me. We have tested two scenarios, 30 computers within Firewall and later 30 computers out of Firewall. We had problem in both cases. Thanks, Erik 0 -
Feel free to post the ticket number here should you decide to open a support ticket so we can take a closer look. Thank you. 0
