Hello :) What's the overall capacity of your /usr partition? I don't suggest moving anything out of the /usr/local directory. Instead, you may find that reinstalling the OS and restoring the accounts from backup is the solution going forward. Here is the recommended partition setup: Recommended partitions Thank you.

The partition is 8gb which was the recommended minimum size until recently. I've moved all the logs etc, elsewhere and removed / relocated some other recommended files but the recent updates appear to have used a lot more space than previously. Ideally I don't want to reinstall as it will be time consuming but also means that 85 or so sites will be offline while it's being done. I have wondered about re-portioning as the home directory has 163gb free in it, however this appears to not be recommended. I'm pretty sure it would be far less downtime if all goes well. Has anyone that has successfully re-partitioned with cpanel installed. If so what's the process for this? I could request its done in the data centre straight after the daily backups complete.

Hello :) I suggest consulting with your data center or a qualified system administrator if you prefer to repartition the drive. It's not generally recommended, and you may even want to consider setting up a new server, transferring the accounts over to it, and then shutting down the existing server. This would reduce the downtime for your websites. Thank you.
