whm package mod_ssl not available

Hi, do WHM supports mod_ssl package. Strange ive checked easyapache but no available for mod_ssl. My server is on CentOS and tried yum update yum update openssl yum install mod_ssl No package mod_ssl available. Is there an issue on mod_ssl related to WHM? TIA

  Hi, because it seems listed on blacklist /etc/yum.conf [main] exclude=bind-chroot courier* dovecot* exim* filesystem httpd* mod_ssl* mydns* mysql* nsd* perl* php* proftpd* pure-ftpd* ruby* spamassassin* squirrelmail* why will WHM exclude mod_ssl? TIA

  Hello :) Mod_SSL is handled through EasyApache and thus is excluded in the /etc/yum.conf file. It's compiled by default: [~]# httpd -l|grep ssl mod_ssl.c

  Hi, i tried your command httpd -l|grep ssl but no mod_ssl.c. I tried running easyapache but no option for mod_ssl. Is there a big impact if i remove mod_ssl on /etc/yum.conf? Im using WHM 11.44.1 TIA

  Please do not remove the exclusion in your /etc/yum.conf file and attempt to install Mod_SSL via YUM. That's not how Apache modules are installed on a cPanel. Instead, could you let us know which version of Apache is installed on your system? Post the output from: httpd -M|grep ssl
