WHM Lost Password
Hi,
I recently locked myself out of WHM, I changed the password and didn't write it down or save it (it's as simple as that.) I turned off SSH access with a password and I don't have the key that I used to have...
My server company don't offer support but they said they can set up remote access (LARA). Does anybody have the knowledge to assist me on resetting the WHM Admin Password from this?
Any help would be hugely appreciated. I am aware I am an idiot.

Sorry, I mean 'Remote Console'... if there's any difference.

Hello, You get console access of your server using LARA. Using that you can acess KVM for your server and from KVM you can reset the password. Thanks. 0 -
Hello, Yes, You can do it through LARA console, First you will have to boot your server in single user mode and change the root password. Once password is updated login your server through LARA with the new root password and enable the SSH access with the password authentications 0 -
Hello :) Yes, once you have console access and boot your server into single-user mode, then you can change your root password via the command line like you normally would. EX: passwd root
