Redirecting cPanel hostname?
Hi, I've configured "panel.domain.com" as my cPanel hostname. However, I've noticed that if accessing from the internet, using "panel.domain.com" would show an error from "panel.domain.com/cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi" indicating an error.
How do I prevent that from happening when that subdomain is used specifically for cPanel hostname?

Hello :) That's actually the intended behavior. The page you see is not an error, but the default website page. You can configure that page here: "WHM Home " Account Functions " Web Template Editor" Thank you. 0 -
Is there a way to redirect these sites to another web address instead of the "Has not yet been configured by the domain owner" page which is actually used for cPanel host (and obviously it's not configured when the port for accessing the panel is not port 80)/ 0 -
You could manually setup a VirtualHost entry for the host using the instructions here: Modify Virtualhost Containers With Include Files Thank you. 0
