Account filter: Received from header
Running cpanel on a vps, with root access, and multiple domains.
(local refers to hosted on this server, remote refers to hosted on another server)
When an account filter is used to redirect an email to a remote email address, a Received header is added.
but
When an account filter is used to redirect an email to a local email address, the received header is NOT added.
How can i get the Account filter to add the Received header to local email addresses.
thanks

Hello :) Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can see this behavior and action and review the Exim configuration settings enabled on your system? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you. 0 -

To update, it was determined a custom Exim rule is likely required to modify the header to the user's preference. The user was advised to consult with the Exim mailing list to determine the best possible way to implement such a rule. Thank you. 0 -
Unfortunately the Exim Mail list response is similar.........will see if can dig further... [QUOTE]This is a custom header, not a standard one. It must be being explicitly added by cpanel's coding in their exim config. If they want multiple ones added, again, it's up to them. I don't know how their "account filter" is coded, so I can't help any more than that.
