cancelled account appears to have all public_html files remaining on server

I have cancelled the account on cpanel for domain1.com. On the same server I have parked domain1.com on domain2.com when I point the browser to domain1.com I see the index.html page for domain2.com all as it should be. BUT if I point the browser to domain1.com/index.html I see the old index page for domain1.com? This indicates to me that the file for domain1.index.html (and all other original files) somehow remain on the server! HELP please. John

  Hello :) Have you tested this from an alternate web browser to rule out any cache issues? Thank you.
