Hello :) You could setup an account level filter so that messages are discarded if the "to" address does not match a specific pattern. However, if your goal is to bounce all messages sent to non-existing email accounts, that behavior can be implemented by default. In "WHM Home " Server Configuration " Tweak Settings", under the "Mail" tab, the "Initial default/catch-all forwarder destination" can be set to "Fail". Thank you.

Michael, thanks. I need to add that I want all emails to still be received - just, to confirm, not to have to set up the sub-domains again. Thanks

Are you transferring the account from another cPanel server? If so, all of the subdomains and their email accounts/settings will be transferred over. You must create the subdomains if you want to setup email accounts for them and have them receive emails. Thank you.
