cURL & cURL SSL Help
Hi,
I have a client who has contacted me today with the following message
Hi,
We got a cURL error:"Verification failure (using cURL). Returned: cURL error" days.
Googled got that:"Contact your webhost and make sure they have cURL enabled on your server. "
After looking I notice we have cURL SSL enabled and you cannot enable cURL and cURL SSL together. The clients English is not great so he's linked me to /http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/165542-paypal-curl-error/ I'm running WHMCS on the server so I know we need cURL SSL. Is there a way around this? P.S I'll post updates from the client as I get them. I have advised cURL SSL is installed so he shouldn't see any issues.

Hello :) cURL is automatically installed when you enable cURL SSL in EasyApache. You can verify this with a command such as: php -m|grep curl

What was the complete error message of your client? The part after "Returned: cURL error: ?????". The link to the forum post isn't really helpful. The error discussed there is a certificate name mismatch. To use curl instead of curl ssl looks not like a proper solution.cURL error:SSL: certificate subject name '*.register.it' does not match target host name 'www.paypal.com0
