how to update old cpanels ?

    Hello :) Ideally, you should reinstall the OS and then install cPanel normally. However, you could also check to see if "/etc/eximupdisable" exists and then remove that file to allow the update to proceed. Thank you.

    i think i found another workaround, i am testing.

    that "CPANEL=11.38 in the file /etc/cpupdate.conf" did the trick, it is upgraded to "WHM 11.38.2 (build 23)" which has mysql 5.5 option . then after upgrading mysql via whm, i can upgrade cpanel to latest 11.44 .
