cPanel Personal License

Please ask your sales department to consider personal licenses for non-commercial use. Preferably around $60/year. I'd love to set up WHM/cPanel on a dev box at home which is behind a firewall and not accessible from the internet. It would allow me to learn more about using WHM/cPanel without worrying over killing live sites. And it would help in my development work to have the same dev environment as our live server. I think you're missing out on some additional positive cash-flow... When I Google this problem, the only solution I find is to crack/disable registration to use it without paying. Call me "odd", but I'm one of the minority that prefers NOT to use cracked/pirated software... maybe it's because I make my own living writing software.

  Couldn't you just use a cheap VPS for that?

  What do you call cheap? Who has a VPS with WHM/cPanel for $60/year? And in searching this forum, I've found a TON of similar requests... Why turn down all that money? I'm not sure I understand the reason for NOT selling a personal license.
