how to use hosted shared SSL on HTML pages only
I have a basic hosted account with lunarpages. If I understand correctly, I'm eligible to use of their shared SSL certificate. Their support documentation says that it will work when serving HTML pages only (not JSP/ASP/PHP). This suits my immediate need perfectly. I had their tech support staff move me from an ineligible server to an eligible server, and they said I'm good to go.
When I request the intended target, the page is served perfectly. When I make secure request, I get a popup warning saying that the certificate is invalid (it belongs to some noted personality), and won't let me continue to my site securely. I assume that I need to clear out the bad reference to the other person's cert, and put in a reference to the correct cert.
I don't seem to have access to httpd.conf. Or if I do, I certainly can't find it in the usual places.
I'm asking whether httpd.conf is within my reach, and if so - I could use some basic instructions on how to specifically configure it to use the lunarpages certificate (I'm not asking for man pages on httpd.conf).
Thanks

As a Website Owner, you won't have access to this sort of thing. You'll need to contact your Hosting Provider once again. Their support documentation says that it will work when serving HTML pages only (not JSP/ASP/PHP).
You might want to recheck this detail as well.0
