Please note that MariaDB is not supported on cPanel 11.44 or 11.46 MariaDB uses a signed value to store this value. MySQL uses an unsigned value. (see:

Hi Isn't there any other way rather than waiting for 11.48? I have replaced mysql with mariadb and I'm stuck! Nothing works, phpmyadmin, even executing mysql grants this error: root@server11 [~]# mysql ERROR 1226 (42000): User 'root' has exceeded the 'max_user_connections' resource (current value: -1) !!! So isn't there any way to change this simple value in mariadb??? isn't that a shame?! (changing/inserting max_user_connections=0 or 1000 etc. in my.cnf simply doesn't work) /https://mariadb.com/kb/en/mariadb/mariadb-vs-mysql-compatibility/#incompatibilities-between-mariadb-53-and-mysql-51-and-mariadb-52 There are many similar threads in the internet which they have no answers. /http://forum.synology.com/enu/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=90331 Synology Forum - Root connection problem while migrating to MariaDB Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Regards

ok just posted now on forum with respect to migrating to mariadb. Rather not I guess. Going to wait it out a few months till I'm confident my users won't have issues. :)
