Unable to add a subdomain as primary domain!

I'm trying to replace an account primary domain with a subdomain via "Modify an Account" in WHM But it keep saying "Value must be a fully qualified domain." Am I missing something? Any help will be greatly appreciated

  Hello :) Could you post a screenshot of what you see so we can get a better idea of what's happening? Is it allowing you to attempt the change or is validation failing in the UI? Is the subdomain associated with the hostname of the server? Thank you.
