/home/username/logs , whats the purpose of this folder

Hello, is the folders /home/username/logs essential for some important WHM functions? or can i delete flles from these folders? Also from /usr/local/apache/domlogs i have identic question, but there i want to delete it regularly like monthly, not just onetime.. If it can harm some WHM function or i need to trim somehow these files? I want them to be there in domlogs so i can track the issues into history.. Thank you

  Hello :) It's not required for cPanel/WHM to function, but the /home/$username/logs directory stored access logs that the user has decided to archive. The Apache domlogs question is answered on your other thread: Access Logs Show Only 1 Hour Thank you.

  That domlogs question is not answered fully so that i dont know which linux commands i need to setup or what i need to do to prevent disk over usage.
