Anyone had slow issues with SSL Connections?

Hi guys, we have a client who is using woo commerce on their site with a https checkout. For a lot of their customers when going to the checkout which has a forced SSL connection it takes up to 15 seconds to load it. The rest of the site is lightning fast, just the checkout. If i disable force SSL connection then checkout loads as quick as the rest of the site. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Andy

  Hello :) Is this only happening on the specific script you are using, or does it happen with static HTML pages as well? Have you checked with the developer of the script to see if there are any known problems/solutions? Thank you.
