Nat Questions

Hello, This is my first time having a colocated server so I do have a question about NAT and adding the IPs to WHM. We are using NAT. When adding IP address into WHM during the setup what is the process I have to take before I get to this point. Do I need to add them into the firewall, switch or server via terminal? I know this may be stupid but I am in the learning process. Thanks.
