When formulating the Reverse DNS, 2 ip have same values for the 3 front segements

    Hello :) Yes that is acceptable because you will specify the last octet of the IP address within the zone file. You can find documentation on this at: Setup rDNS for Bind Thank you.

    Quite to the contrary, the system responds 'the zone owned by another user'. I have 2 ip addresses covering 2 different domains, the front 3 segments of the values are the same whilst last segment is 23, and 24 . When I try to create the Reverse DNS zone, it accepts for the first domain. But when I create for the 2nd, the system responds with the above error message. Thanks for helping me out! JJ

    The system recognizes only the first Reverse DNS zone because of the same formation of values with the front 3 segments, even though the 2 have different ip. How could I overcome this? Thanks! JJ
