Point www record to cPanel account

Hi, I'm trying to point a www record from a domain to a cPanel shared account. Now obviously the IP is shared so the www record would point to the server but no specific account. I'm trying to avoid pointing the nameservers at the cPanel host. Is there a way around this? Thanks
