Hello :) You should not change the permissions of the public_html directory to 0755. It should remain at 0750. Are you sure Mod_Ruid2 was not enabled at some point, and there are no custom applications installed (e.g. Nginx, LiteSpeed)? Thank you.

Yes Mod Ruid2 was enabled months ago but for a few hours then taken off. We stuck to suPHP ever since and it hasn't given issues since. We installed Litespeed a few days ago hence that may be the cause. But they are pointing us to cPanel stating that if we switch back to apache which we have and still notice the issue then something in cPanel is the issue. As per: [url=http://www.litespeedtech.com/support/forum/threads/permissions-issues-with-new-accounts.10076/]Permissions issues with new accounts | LiteSpeed Support Forums Currently switched back to apache but still having this issue when creating new accounts so very strange. I may run Easyapache later this evening and upcp just to be sure this evening. Any ideas though?

What method did you use to uninstall LiteSpeed? It seems like there are probably some custom hooks enabled that are triggered when creating a new account. Let us know if the issue persists after uninstalling LiteSpeed completely and running EasyApache again. Thank you.

I used the WHM plugin. Clicked uninstall. Doesn't seem to work. Same problem exists when creating new accounts. I even ran /scripts/upcp --force and rebuilt easy apache.

Could you open a support ticket using the link in my signature so we can take a closer look? You can post the ticket number here so we can update this thread with the outcome. Thank you.
