Backup Configuration Selections

Hello, Is it possible to use both backup options, legacy and new B/U, at the same time? On the new backup configuration I would like to use the compressed option and store the backup data remotely on the Amazon S3 network on a monthly basis. On the legacy backup I would like to use the incremental daily/weekly backup option. Any known issues with doing this? Thank you!

  Hello :) Yes, it's acceptable to use both backup options at this time, however note that at some point in the future the legacy backup system will reach end-of-life. Thank you.

  Thank you for your prompt response. Are there any future plans to allow different backup options for the daily, weekly, monthly selections on the new backup system? As an example: have incremental daily/weekly backups - and monthly compressed(stored remotely) Thank you again!
