ping: unknown host

i have added an A Record to domain "domain.in" which is "mob1.domain.in", but when i ping it, i face with this ping: unknown host mob1.domain.in i have check resolve.conf and placed dns's that datacenter gave me... also i have run these commands /etc/rc.d/init.d/named restart /etc/init.d/network restart the strange thing is that old A records work fine like mob2.domain.in but new records have problem...

  Hello :) Do you get accurate results when using the "dig" command? EX:
  dig $sub-domain dig @localhost $sub-domain

  yessss i have moved this website from another server by using express transfer, but after that the customer has not changed his domain DNS's. and i think it is the issue... is'nt there any other way that we can fix this without changin DNS's ?

  You will need to have the name servers updated at the registrar so the domain name points to the new server. Or, update the DNS zone on the source server so it resolves to the new IP address. Thank you.
