Test Page for Website

So I'm new to this cpanel business. Im trying to make a test page to see what this landing page looks like, i want the url to be mydomain.co/webcam-signup So do i create a file or folder to start out? What im trying to upload has a images subfolder and an html file. How do i get these onto my website? Do i upload them as a whole file to the folder i created?? [COLOR="silver">- - - Updated - - - Also do changes like these have to propagate? or are they immediate?

  Hey Michael! Thanks for the reply, one more question that I feel like should be simple but I can't find it anywhere, how do I know the url of the new file or webpage created? How do I see it in action?

  These two locations are the same thing: yourdomain.com /chazten/public_html/ So, placing a file called index.html in the public_html directory can be found here: yourdomain.com/index.html

  That's what I thought! But when I upload anything, it either shows a 404 redirect or a blank page when I try entering the url in the address bar!

  You might want to contact your Hosting Provider about this. They know your domain and account, and can check to make sure things are properly setup for your account.
