Test Page for Website
So I'm new to this cpanel business. Im trying to make a test page to see what this landing page looks like, i want the url to be mydomain.co/webcam-signup
So do i create a file or folder to start out? What im trying to upload has a images subfolder and an html file. How do i get these onto my website? Do i upload them as a whole file to the folder i created??

Also do changes like these have to propagate? or are they immediate?

Hello :) Uploads to your account are immediate. The forums here are primarily intended for discussions of the cPanel/WHM software itself, so you will likely receive more feedback to your question about HTML and images on a web design forum. Thank you. 0 -
Hey Michael! Thanks for the reply, one more question that I feel like should be simple but I can't find it anywhere, how do I know the url of the new file or webpage created? How do I see it in action? 0 -
These two locations are the same thing: yourdomain.com /chazten/public_html/ So, placing a file called index.html in the public_html directory can be found here: yourdomain.com/index.html 0 -
That's what I thought! But when I upload anything, it either shows a 404 redirect or a blank page when I try entering the url in the address bar! 0 -
You might want to contact your Hosting Provider about this. They know your domain and account, and can check to make sure things are properly setup for your account. 0
