You don't even need a DNS Only server, it can be two cPanel servers. The docs should be of more use than any forum reply I think: Configure Cluster - cPanel Documentation DNS cluster requirements To configure your DNS cluster, you must meet the following minimum requirements: Clusters must consist of at least two servers. You must have at least one web server with cPanel & WHM installed. A DNS cluster that includes multiple cPanel DNSONLY servers and cPanel & WHM servers is also acceptable. All machines in the DNS cluster must have cPanel & WHM or cPanel DNSONLY version 11 or higher installed. Some features may not work with older versions of cPanel & WHM.

Thank you for the reply. I do not want to do it between the cpanel servers, because they are both on VPS located in the same hardware node machine, but the DNSONLY cpanel VPS is on the cloud, so if the physical server goes down, the other one in the cloud takes over. For example we have cPanel server 1 cPanel server 2 and cPanelDNSONLY VPS on the cloud cPanel server 1 is clustered with cPanelDNSONLY VPS with a Write Only DNS role (every change on "cPanel server 1" is been written on "cPanelDNSONLY VPS") can I also configure the "cPanel server 2" as cluster the same way as the previous one, to the "cPanelDNSONLY VPS" ? with the same configuration (Write Only) ? or do I have to create a new cPanelDNSONLY VPS installation for each cPanel Server ?

Hello :) Yes, you can configure it the same way. You don't need a DNS-Only server for each hosting server. Thank you.
