Local Mail Exchanger, Backup Mail Exchanger and Remote Mail Exchanger
How would it be possible for all mail to be delivered to mailserver.company.tld and any boxtrapper messages and auto-responses would be sent from that IP address (as to not blacklist any other customers using the webhost server) and then, hopefully non-spam emails could be directed onto a second cPanel server, like: webhost.company.tld with a different IP?
Which option should be selected on which server (any local MX mods here) and what MX records should be publically visable in the DNS?
Thanks

Hello :) It seems like you might be thinking of a spam appliance. There are several third-party SPAM appliance services offered. You can search for "spam appliance" on our forums to see input from other users on services from companies such as Barracuda or MailFoundry. Thank you. 0 -
Hi Michael I was hoping to run two servers, one being the welcome mat, fire off any auto responses and boxtrapper messages, without impacting clients on the second server which hosts their website and is the "final destination" for the emails. Thanks :) 0 -
There are no native features for that type of functionality. I believe a SPAM appliance solution might still be the better option for you. Thank you. 0
