Find files which generate specific pages
Sorry if this is a dumb question. I want to change some text in a site I inherited but cannot find the files that contain the content/text in cpanel. I am presuming there is one file per page/url but not sure. Any help will be gratefully received.

Is this a HTML website or CMS website (wordpress, joomla) etc. Once that question is answered then we can help more. 0 -
Styling missing I have an html website and am trying to edit some content. I extracted the html/css from the site with "view source" and edited it in Notepad. I saved it as as an .xhtml and uploaded it to my site. I opened it in my browser and the content is all there but without any styling (CSS is in the html). I tried saving it as a .html, same result. Am I missing something obvious? Thanks 0 -

Re: Styling missing This isn't a cPanel issue. You might check with the style's author on how to edit it properly. I extracted the html/css from the site with "view source" and edited it in Notepad.
That's not how you do it. You'd modify the actual file called (probably) style.css which contains the actual style that what you see in the HTML, is calling. HTML files should be saved as .html, CSS files should be saved as .css GL!0
