Hello :) Are you unable to send and receive emails, or is it only sending email that's the problem? Have you sent an email to/from a test mail account (e.g. Hotmail, Google) and then reviewed /var/log/exim_mainlog to see the output? Thank you.

I can not send and I can not receive emails. I've done several tests with hotmail. Below is my latest log: 2014-11-17 16:03:22 SMTP connection from [65.55.34.153]:51949 (TCP/IP connection count = 1) 2014-11-17 16:03:25 H=(COL004-OMC3S15.hotmail.com) [65.55.34.153]:51949 sender verify defer for <myhotmail@hotmail.com>: host lookup did not complete 2014-11-17 16:03:25 H=(COL004-OMC3S15.hotmail.com) [65.55.34.153]:51949 X=TLSv1.2:AES256-SHA256:256 F=<myhotmail@hotmail.com> temporarily rejected RCPT <email@mydomain.com.br>: Could not complete sender verify 2014-11-17 16:03:25 SMTP connection from (COL004-OMC3S15.hotmail.com) [65.55.34.153]:51949 closed by QUIT
When I click Email > Delivery Reports > Delivery Event Details - Appear the following box: .vB My doubt is about the Sender host and Sender IP. They are correct? If not, how a solved this issue? Thanks

It's possible those remote mail servers have blocked mail from your server. Try testing this with telnet. EX:
    telnet remote-mail-server-IP 25
Replace "remote-mail-server-IP" with the IP address of a mail server you can not send email to. Thank you.

The following message appears: telnet: Unable to connect to remote host: Connection timed out What I need to do to solve this? Thank you!

P.S: I'm using cPanel DNS-Only. Have a different configuration for work with email in this case? Another question, how I configure the MX records?

Make sure it's not a firewall rule on your server that's blocking the connection. If not, you will have to consult with Google to see why they have blocked your IP address. Note that cPanel DNS-Only is only intended for DNS purposes. It's not designed to allow you to host websites or send/receive email. Thank you.

The problem was with DNS-Only. I disabled DNS-Only and use the IPs of the dedicated server and the e-mail is working perfectly. My new question is: Is not possible use the DNS Master with DNS-Only? I was using the master DNS with DNS-Only to reduce the latency between my country and my server. I hired a vps in my country for this.

Are you referring to "DNS Master" as a software application or as a term in DNS cluster configurations? Thank you.

Is the term in DNS Cluster. I'll need to configure ns1.mydomain.com (Master DNS) in my VPS with DNS-Only. To reduce the latency. My server was configured as follows (with the Master DNS on VPS) but the email did not work. Thank you

Hello, Now I did a new configuration. I set the ns1 to the dedicated server and ns2 to VPS with DNS-Only. All it's working fine now. But if I set the ns1 to other VPS with DNS-Only the email not work. I need a way to set ns1 to my VPS without the email stops working. Exists any way to make this? Thank you

Could you clarify what's happening when the email fails? Are you attempting to setup email accounts on the DNS-Only server or the standard cPanel server? Thank you.

I configure the emails accounts on standard cPanel. My problem is when I set the ns1 to my VPS with DNS-Only. If I set the ns1 to IP of my standard cPanel, the email works perfectly. But when I set ns1 to IP of my VPS the email not work. Mail Delivery Reports returns this message: host lookup did not complete Ex: Scenery that works (Emails works in this scenery): ns1.mydomain.com -> IP of my dedicated server ns2.mydomain.com -> IP of my secundary VPS (with DNS-Only)
Scenery that not works (I need that my emails works in this scenery): ns1.mydomain.com -> IP of my primary VPS (with DNS-Only) ns2.mydomain.com -> IP of my secundary VPS (with DNS-Only)
PS: I use a Cluster between my servers. Thank you

How long are you allowing for propagation after making the change? Thank you.

  • dsm
On average one hour the propagation are completed. Thanks!
