High CPU load because of sync_supers processes
Hi,
Every two days or so I get an email from cPanel that the CPU has been maxed out for more than 6 hours period:
IMPORTANT: Do not ignore this email.
This is cPanel cpuwatch on domain.com!
While processing, the cpu has been
maxed out for more than a 6 hour period.
You should check the server to see why the load is so high and take steps to lower the load. If you want stats to continue to run even with a high load; Edit /var/cpanel/cpanel.config and change extracpus to a number larger then 0 (run /usr/local/cpanel/startup afterwards to pickup the changes).
If I check, all the CPU's are maxed out indeed. I have 4 CPU's and all constantly 100% usage. If I check "ps aux", there are every time process with this name: sync_supers. They just won't go away because the START is always a few days back. I have to kill the process manually. Can anyone please help me with this? Thanks!
