Mail Man Distribution List
Hello,
After browsing the forums i noticed that all the posts relating to this question have been older and did not allow me to update them in hopes of helping. After some research here is how we use MailMan as a Distribution list for our staff.
We have multiple forwards setup to 2 different mailing lists (EX: info/presales -> sales@domain.ml abuse/domains -> support@domain.ml) With that in mind we want users to seamlessly email everyone on the lists above for proper management.
Here is how we used MailMan as a distribution list.
In cPanel -> Mailing Lists -> Manage
(Change to Private if not already)
This will bring you to the primary administrative interface.
General Options:
from_is_list - Wrap Messages (This will help with DKIM rewrites / SPF errors)
send_reminders - No
send_welcome_msg - No
send_goodbye_msg - No
admin_notify_mchanges - Yes
respond_to_post_requests - No
max_message_size - 0 (set to 0 for unlimited)
new_member_options - Check - Do not send a copy of a member's own post (Enabled for Distribution List)
Non-Digest Options
msg_footer - Remove all content (When you reply to a clients email you don't want them to see internal links.)
Digest Options
digestable - No (we want all ML users to get the emails as they come)
digest_footer - Remove all info (no one should be able to receive digest, but just in case we removed it)
Privacy Options
private_roster - List Admins Only
Sender Filters
generic_nonmember_action - Accept
Recipient Filters
require_explicit_destination - No (set to no since we have multiple email aliases going to the same ML)
Bounce processing
bounce_processing - No (disabled to manage bounces ourselves)
Archiving Options
Archive - No (No need to archive since all mailboxes have a copy -- Personal Preference, might enable later)
The rest is default.

Re: Mail Man Distribution List (How To) We will go ahead and leave this as a new thread due to the age of those older threads. Thank you for your effort. 0
