How do you change document root in cpanel?

    You can do it from the cpanel if it is addon domain. Go to addon domain section and in second column you have to update the document root path. If you are doing it for main domain then you have to manually edit your httpd.conf file from ssh.

    Hello :) Your access level is listed as website owner, indicating you do not have root access to the server. You will need to have your web hosting provider assist you with changing the document root of the primary domain name associated with your account. Thank you.
