MySQL 5.1 -> 5.6 upgrade failed

I just attempted to update MySQL from 5.1 to 5.6 via WHM, and it failed, and now mysql will not start. Here is my update log (with my list of tables redacted):

    Hello :) I would suggest you to check whith MySQL packages are installed on your server and remove the unneeded rpms manually and then try to upgrade again. rpm -qa |grep MYSQL rpm -e Multiple MySQL servers got installed on your machine which is causing the conflict. You can also try running below command: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --fix
