MX Record and Reverse PTR Query

I have a small query.. I have cPanel Installed. My MX Record is mydomain.com and the reverse PTR record for the IP is set as server.mydomain.com Should I change the Reverse PTR record as mydomain.com for proper mail delivery ? If there is any information please kindly provide me regarding this

  Hello :) No, it's normal for the PTR record to match the hostname of the server rather than the hostname associated with the MX record. Thank you.
