How to make Website more secure?

hi this is bally chohan, i want to make my website more secure from hackers. What should i do for making my website control panel more and more secure?

  Hello, You will have to setup the custom admin panel path with the .htaccess password and enable it only for your IP's. If you are creating your site with the joomla OR wordpress then I will suggest you update your scripts with latest stable version with all plugins and templates.

  Hello :) You should use strong passwords, secure and updated scripts, and avoid using insecure permissions on your website files. Much of the server security is handled by your hosting provider if you do not have root access to the system. Thank you.
