    Limit the maximum hitrate the server is allowed to receive. You can also use a frontend proxy.

    Howdy, You can't really if enough people want to attack with that tool you will be knocked off line. It would be better to have the traffic blocked at the datacenter switch or router if you can. Sadly server side tools are not effective in stopping this sort of attack if there is enough traffic. Sorry,

    Like Eric says You can only minimize the damage. But in the end when the attacker is higher in bandwidth. You will lose. When you receive 'message Resource limit' that means probably that you have cloudlinux and to many hits, that uses resources. You can try like said in the first topic to rate limit the incoming traffic per ip. But that does not solve the problem in general, either. Varnish or frontend caching is always a good idea. Helps a lot when getting attacked.
