I have lost access to SSH/ cPanel and WHM, I cannot log in
I have lost access to SSH/ cPanel and WHM, I cannot log in with any means including my ftp client.
I do own ma own server and have access to it on site and I can login to the machine as root with my password and get access. I do knot know what happened but all of a sudden I lost all access to the server remotely. I cannot login to cpanel or WHM to see what is going on. I havr shutdown the server and rebooted it with no results accessing the machine remotely. I can still view the websites on the server remotely but cannot login remotley.
What can I do to resolve this problem. It will have to be done directly at the terminal I would guess.
I have shut down the machine for now and will restart it in 20 minutes to see what it dose.
Any suggestions would be greatly accepted.
Thanks

I have not tried that yet. I will need to go off location to do that. is there any way to disable cPHulk by the command line to see if that is what it is?0 -
I have tried from the terminal /usr/local/cpanel/bin/cphulk_pam_ctl --disable then I ran /usr/local/cpanel/etc/init/stopcphulkd and it returned ....not running I am now able to login to both cPanel and WHM and ssh and ftp Thanks for the help in resolving this. I will now whitelist my ip address. I am gussing that is what caused this problem. 0 -
