Backup Restoration Not Working
I have had a couple instances on a server where I run Backup Restoration in WHM. It seems to work fine, completes, but the client sees no change in their site. It's usually something where they've made some egregious content error so it would be obvious to them. I restore from a version earlier than when the error or errors were made, but in one case I did this with a backup several days prior and the content still hadn't been restored. These are database driven sites (Drupal to be exact). But there are no errors, like lost db connection, just nothing has changed.
Any ideas?

Oh and btw, yes, the backups are there in /backup.

Hello :) What method are you using to restore the account? Are you terminating the account before restoring it? Thank you. 0 -
No. Not terminating the account before restoring. Is that something I should do? I don't recall ever having to terminate the account before restoring from backup. 0 -
You can try terminating the account beforehand to see if that makes a difference, but also check to see if the restored database is missing any data (you can browse the tables via phpMyAdmin). Thank you. 0
