Forward email, delete from server

Hello! Quick question, I'm relatively new to the email side of things in cpanel... I've read other threads about this, but my question is slightly different. I want to have an email automatically forward to a gmail account, and then be deleted from my godaddy's server webmail From what I've reading other threads, people just set up the forwarder and then delete the webmail account, and it'll still forward. As far as I'm aware, I can't do this, because in order for my GMAIL account to respond to emails using the domain email, there needs to be an actual webmail account. I've got everything set up, the GMAIL account (so the from is the domain email) and the forwarder, the only issue is that the emails are stored on the godaddy server as well as being forwarded to gmail. I just want it so the godaddy server doesn't store any emails. Any ideas? Cheers Sam

  Hello :) Rather than setting up a forwarder, you could utilize the "User Level Filtering" option for the email address. Setup a rule to redirect the email sent to the first address, and then have the additional rule discard the message. Thank you.
