Your session cookie is invalid. Please log in again.
I just opened an account with hostgator and I receieved a cpanel account login details. I was able to log into the account just once. Since then, anytime I try, it says "Your session cookie is invalid. Please log in again." on safari and "The login is invalid." on firefox. I've been trying again and again for over four days and still no hope. I sent a mail to the cpanel support, I was issued a ticket number and they still haven't gotten back to me. I've seen other people having the same issue and the common answer is to run this code
for i in `ps aux | grep -i "cphulkd - process" | awk {'print $2'}` ;do kill -9 $i ;done
/usr/local/cpanel/bin/cphulk_pam_ctl --disable
Neither commands work. I do not even have a cpanel folder. Can someone please give me a suitable answer to this problem. I'm frustrated. Thanks

Have you bothered to ask HostGator? They are your Hosting Provider after all, you pay them money for that new account you have. Do you have root access to this server? 0 -
I've contacted hostgator via their support/help email, they didn't get back to me. I don't have root access to the server 0 -
Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to run any commands on that server then. If you're blocked, only the ServerAdmin can get you back in. You could try connecting via another IP address to see if that helps if your IP is blocked of course. 0 -
From our experience, the error has more to do with your browser than with your host's server. Have you logged out and logged back in to cPanel? This error can pop up when a previous session with cPanel is still running. 0 -
I can't even login in order to log out. I tried using my phone. I says 'Login successful. Redirecting' and then redirected me back to the same login page 0 -
If you've tried via your phone and its not connected to the same Wifi in your location, that's a different IP of course. If you cannot login from a different IP, you might have some other sort of issue going on here. Contacting your Hosting Provider is the only way forward then.. 0 -
The phone is connected to the same wifi. I changed my ip address on my computer. Its still giving the same problem. I hope you guys don't block blacklist a user after several failed attempts at login. The guys at hostgator (my hosting provider) aren't replying my mails. I tried to get another server for hosting my website at hostgator but they didn't let me. 0 -
Changing the IP address on your computer is of no use, you'd need to reboot your router and hope for an IP change from your ISP to do that. I hope you guys don't block blacklist a user after several failed attempts at login.
Us guys have nothing to do with this. It's all down to the server security which your Hosting Provider, that guy, manages. ;) Not sure why it would take so long to get a reply from HostGator, must be more going on here than we're aware of.0 -
Ok. Thanks. I'll just keep trying 0 -
Dear All, Please can any one tell me why i have received the same error "Your session cookie is invalid. Please log in again. " when i login again again and again Regards, Tariq 0 -

Could you clarify if this is happening when logging in via cPanel or with a script that you have installed? Have any of the previous posts to this thread helped? Thank you.0 -

Please attach the image directly to your post rather than linking to a 3rd-party image hosting website. Thank you. 0 -
The image was simply the cPanel login page with the message: ""Your session cookie is invalid. Please log in again." @tariq_ews, how did you make out with your Hosting Provider? 0 -
I am using cloudflare service and the issue came the cookies is invalid. I had the same issue yesterday, and in my solutions was access cpanel via /http://cpanel.domain.tld instead of /http://domain.tld/cpanel. Hope this would work with the others 0 -
thanks you guy, i have the same problem here, now it's done. SOrry for bad english 0 -
I'm having similar issues as it keeps logging me out by stating YOUR SESSION COOKIE is invalid. Please help. In addition, I usually get this error message: An error occurred. Server error. Access denied! Thanks. 0 -
Hello :) Were the previous suggestions from other users on this thread helpful? If not, please report this issue to your web hosting provider so they can take a closer look. Thank you. 0
