New domain being redirected to /usr/local/apache/htdocs
I just installed cPanel on a new RHEL 6.6 server. The first and only domain I need on this server was transferred over but every time I called the home page I got redirected to cgi-sys/defaultwebpage.cgi. I read some people saying this was an issue with the server only haivng one IP and it was shared so I put a second IP on the server and dedicated it to the site. I've rebuilt apache 4 times now as some people have suggested a rebuild will fix this. I looked in my apache error log and I can see that any url I call on this domain is going to /usr/local/apache/htdocs which of course is wrong.
What can I do to either get the domain looking at the right file path or change the default path to where my domain's files are at? This will be the only site on this server so I'm not worried about messing up other domains.
I'll also add this is a temporary server. I only plan on using it for 2-3 weeks before deploying a new server in a different location.

Have you given the domain name time to propagate? 0 -
Right now the domain is still live on its old server. I have edited the hosts file on one computer to point to this new server for testing. 0 -
How did you add the domain to the new server, exactly? 0 -
I used the transfer tool. 0 -
Please try rebuilding the Apache configuration file via: /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf
Thank you.0
