Default virtual host of server IP for showing default server page is not in the httpd.conf

Dear friends According to customers complaint i realized that the server IP is showing one of the websites on our shared IP address with 100 sites. So if you write the server IP in your browser then one specific website from those 100 websites will be shown(always one specific site and not randomly) I realized the might be something wrong about the virtual host setting I realized this is missed in the httpd.conf: (x.x.x.x is our IP address)


    ServerName x.x.x.x
    DocumentRoot /usr/local/apache/htdocs
    ServerAdmin someuser @ gmail.com
    UserDir disabled

I can add it to httpd.conf file but since it may be overwrite by cpanel i want to know how we have faced with this and how to permanently resolve it? regards

Hi :), Get a backup of httpd.conf and rebuild it using below command and see if that fixes the issue: /scripts/rebuildhttpdconf

Hello :) Yes, first try rebuilding the Apache configuration file via:
/scripts/rebuildhttpdconf
